Description

Hereward is an exciting and innovative college with a reputation for high-quality provision that is responsive to the needs of our students. Based in Coventry, we specialise in providing excellent education and support to students with diverse and complex needs. In addition to residential students, day disabled and non-disabled students also attend the College.
As Student Services and Progression Manager you will drive the tracking and analysis of student progression from initial goal setting through to transition out of college. Responsible for producing and monitoring individual learning plans and progression pathways, you’ll set clear milestones and review points. You’ll also manage and schedule student reviews, capture and analyse student destination data and work closely with key staff to co-ordinate student progress, through the educational and independence curriculum.
You will also provide outstanding leadership to the student services function, which encompasses a counselling service, a busy reception area, independent advice and guidance and a range of student support services, from bursaries to visas to student inductions.
To apply, you should have a proactive, positive approach to work and have led, motivated, and developed an outstanding customer service function. Ideally, your background will be in the education sector, where you will have designed systems to track and analyse student progress, introduced significant process improvements and used your outstanding analytical skills to deliver real benefits to the organisation. You’ll also need to be a team worker, with superb communication, organisational, planning and time management skills.
Interested? Then why not come and see us at 2pm on Friday 16th March? We’ll show you round and answer your questions. If you’d like to come, let us know via faye.richardson@hereward.ac.uk or 02476 426126.

This College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff to share this commitment. Successful candidates will undergo background checks including an Enhanced CRB disclosure and any start date will be conditional upon satisfactory checks.
